How to Get Madewell Jeans Cheap
Madewell jeans have been my jam for the past few years now. Not to mention, almost all of my friends own a pair (or five pairs) of Madewell denim. The quality of the denim is awesome, plus with all of the different fits and styles, there are tons of options for each and every body type. After I brought home my first pair of Madewell jeans, I found myself wanting every style on the denim bar, however, my bank account could not support that endeavor. Unfortunately, five years later, my bank account still can’t support that, but thankfully, I have discovered a few tricks to get Madewell denim for a discounted price.
1. Bring in an Old Pair of Denim, get $20 off a New Pair
Madewell partners with Blue Jeans Go Green to help recycle old jeans into housing insulation. This means you can bring in any pair of denim, regardless of the style, color or size and receive $20 off a new pair of full-priced jeans. Ready to recycle, but not ready to bring home new jeans? Madewell offers $20 off coupons that can be redeemed on future visits in exchange for old pairs of denim. I believe the coupons do have expirations dates, but I know our local Madewell will exchange the discount coupons for new ones if they expire. Unfortunately, this discount can not be used on sale denim.
2. Become a Madewell Insider and Recieve a $25 Birthday Credit
Signing up for Madewell’s rewards program is simple and can be done either online or in store. The loyalty program, Madewell Insider, rewards customers based on how much they spend in an annual year. However, you do not need to spend a certain amount to be eligible for your $25 birthday credit. Receive the birthday credit through your email and use it on a hot, new pair of denim! I believe the birthday coupon can even be stacked with the above promotion- $20 off a new pair of jeans when you donate an old pair to Blue Jeans Go Green (it’s worth a try at least!). Plus, I have my boyfriend signed up for Madewell rewards so I can cash in on his birthday offer too!
3. Take Advantage of Extra 40% off Sale
A few times throughout the year Madewell offers an extra 40% off sale items. I have been able to get a few pairs of Madewell jeans for cheap, cheap, cheap when this deal is offered. For example, jeans that have been discounted down to $89.99 or $69.99 will be eligible for an additional 40% off discount! I know some of my friends (& myself!) wait for this sale to happen and then snag up several pairs of super cute jeans that they have had our eye on.
4. Buy Through Third Party Stores such as Thred Up or Nordstrom Rack
Honestly, I have not used Thred Up yet, but I know that they carry Madewell. I have, however, found Madewell jeans at Nordstrom Rack for a discounted price. Keep your eye out when shopping these third-party stores for a potentially great deal on Madewell denim.
