I have used Glossier for a few years now. I was first introduced last year when a pop-up shop was happening in Chicago, IL. I was visiting a friend and she was telling me all about how I had to try this newer line of skincare and make-up products. Since trying, I have never looked back! The History of Glossier
Glossier was launched in 2014 by beauty blogger Emily Weiss. The idea of Glossier started while Weis was working and growing her beauty blog, Into the Gloss. Through Into the Gloss, Weiss discovered exactly what skincare and makeup products women were looking for. Glossier’s direct-to-consumer business model paired with their perfectly curated social media helped springboard the company into one of today’s most popular beauty brands. The beauty brand has specifically captured the attention of young people with its sleek, minimalist product designs and reasonable price points. With each new product launch, Glossier has always stayed true to its “skin first, makeup second” vision. With products intended to help women enhance their skin, instead of hiding it. They are the perfect solution for achieving that “no makeup, makeup” look.

Glossier Perfume Review –
I cannot tell you the number of times while wearing Glossier’s fragrance, Glossier You, that I have gotten into an Uber or Lyft and the driver has asked me what brand of perfume I am wearing. Drivers have even gone as far as writing down the name (after I spell it out for them- Glossier is hard!) so they can purchase the fragrance for their girlfriend or wife.
Now, in general, I am not a big fan of wearing perfume and only spritz myself when it is a “full glam” kind of day. This is because I am VERY particular about fragrance as most perfumes end up giving me a headache after about an hour of wearing them. However, unlike most perfumes, I think I could shower in Glossier perfume and be good to go. Want to know the best part about Glossier perfume? It is designed to smell differently on everyone! Don’t ask me how, but Glossier You incorporates a musk scent that transforms and smells slightly different on everyone, making it the ultimate personal fragrance. I honestly don’t know how to describe it other than “yummy-goodness.” Just take my word and the other 2,000+ reviews on Glossier’s website- this shit is good & you need it!

Glossier Lip Gloss Review –
“My lip gloss is poppin’, my lip gloss is cool!’ Does anyone else sing this song when applying lip gloss? I purchased Glossier’s lip gloss in clear a few years back and it is now the only lip gloss I wear. My favorite part is that it is long-lasting and doesn’t wipe off an hour after application. I still pack it in my purse when I go out for the night, but don’t feel the need to be reapplying it every 5 minutes. In addition to providing a long-lasting perfect shine, Glossier’s lip gloss helps your lips stay moisturized as it is infused with Vitamin E and Jojoba oil. Until writing this article, I had no idea it is also available in holographic and red, both of which have now been added to my online shopping cart!

Glossier Boy Brow Review –
Glossier’s Boy Brow is probably one of the beauty brand’s most well-known products. Hence why it was one of the first products I purchased and was very excited to try it out. I will preface this review by saying my brows have needed a lot of help over the years. I am not someone that was born with luscious, full-volume brows. Thus, Boy Brow was not the answer to my brow prayers. Personally, I feel that this product is for those that already have nicely shaped brows that don’t require a lot of assistance. Boy Brow helps intensify already existing brows but does not fill in scarce brows. For now, I will be sticking with my classic brow pencil.

Glossier Solution Review –
Glossier’s exfoliating skin solution promises to transform your skin in just 4 short weeks. Exfoliants work to help remove dead skin cells, revealing a softer, more even complexion. For best results, Glossier recommends using this solution daily. Not to brag, but I only have to use this solution 1-2 times a week because I naturally have a really even complexion (Thank you sunscreen!). Even just using this solution minimally though, I have noticed a more glowy, smoother complexion. The only negative is that the solution bottle is somewhat small. Thus, if you end up using it every day, you may find yourself ordering refills often.

Glossier Milk Jelly Cleanser Review –
Other than the Glossier You perfume, this may be my favorite Glossier product. Last year, I swapped out my Drunk Elephant cleanser for Glossier’s milk jelly cleanser, and am so happy I did! Not only is it half the price, but I swear it is just as good. It can be used on dry skin to help remove makeup, or as a daily face wash. After use, my skin is left feeling refreshed and moisturized, not dry and taut like some other moisturizers. This cleanser also comes in mini or travel size so you never have to be without it!

Glossier Invisible Shield Sunscreen Review –
I am an absolute FREAK about wearing sunscreen. It is most likely the nurse in me, but I am the one that is constantly reapplying and shielding my face from the sun. Therefore, I am also super picky about the sunscreen I use. I need something that doesn’t leave a white film on the skin, that is not “thick,” and protects my skin effectively. All of these reasons are why I am obsessed with Glossier’s daily sunscreen, Invisible Shield. Invisible Sheild is a lightweight, SPF 35, water-gel sunscreen that meets all three of my criteria! No white cast, no grease, no problems! The only downfall of this product is $25 for just 30mls is a little steep. I would prefer to pay more and receive a larger product. Hence why I tend to purchase Supergoop! more often.

Glossier Face Masks Review –
Mega Greens Galaxy Pack- designed to detoxify; Helps oily skin become more even and balanced.
Moisturizing Moon Mask- designed to moisturize; Helps boost hydration, leaving skin feeling brighter and glowier.
Between the two masks, I personally prefer the Moisturizing Moon Mask over the clay Mega Greens Galaxy Pack Mask. I am not a huge fan of clay masks on my skin as I am usually seeking to hydrate vs detoxify. Going forward, I will be reordering the Moon Mask, but will likely skip the Greens Mask. However, I do feel that those looking for a skin detox would appreciate the Mega Greens Galaxy Mask.

Futuredew- One of Glossier’s newer products, I am dying to try Futuredew. Futuredew was designed to give women a dewy, glowy look. Per the description, apply Futuredew as your last step after moisturizer, serums, and sunscreen. Futuredew supposedly does not interfere with make-up and lasts up to 12 hours. Sounds like the perfect addition to help achieve glowing skin.
Price of Futuredew: $24
Milky Oil- I am someone who straight up STRUGGLES with removing my make-up. I mean, I swear I don’t put that much mascara on, but when it is time to come off it’s like it is never-ending. Glossier’s Milky Oil make-up remover claims to remove make-up easily, even when waterproof. So far, the only common critique seems to be that people are asking for a larger size.
Price of Milky Oil: $12
