Most people love a good pair of blue jeans, myself included. However, my favorite style of denim is always changing, leaving old styles piled up and forgotten. In the past when this pile of jeans would get too out of control, I would take them to a donation center, making room for new denim styles and washes. That was until I discovered a way to use my old pairs of denim to get new pairs of designer jeans at discounted prices.
Blue Jeans Go Green is an organization that upcycles donated jeans into denim insulation. This way it prevents denim from ending up in landfills and contributing to the millions of textiles thrown away every year. Blue Jeans Go Green has worked with many retailers and is currently partnering with Madewell and rag & bone through the end of 2019.
